Do I need an account to use KZN?

No. You can use KZN in guest mode and all your data is stored locally on your device. Create an account when you want to sync your workouts to the cloud and access them across devices.

How do I transfer my local data to my account?

After signing up, you'll see an import banner on the Dashboard. Tap it to migrate all your locally saved workouts to your account in one step.

Can I switch between imperial and metric units?

Yes. Go to the Settings tab and toggle between Imperial (lb) and Metric (kg). All weights throughout the app will update automatically.

How are personal records calculated?

KZN scans your entire workout history and finds the highest weight you've lifted for each exercise. Estimated one-rep max is calculated using the Epley formula.

What are milestone badges?

KZN has 60 achievement badges across 12 chains, each with 5 tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Sapphire). Earn them by hitting workout milestones, volume goals, and plate-loaded achievements on the big 3 lifts.

How do workout templates work?

After completing a workout, you can save it as a template. Next time, start a new session from that template and your exercises and weights are pre-filled and ready to go.

Can I log a workout I did in the past?

Yes. On the Log tab, tap "Log a past workout" to manually enter a workout with a custom date, time, and duration.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@kzn.app with your account email and we'll delete your account and all associated data.
